Release day fun
Raise your hand if you sang “since you looked at me” in your head (hello, 90s kids, I see you).
Hearts Overboard has been out for one week! Thank you so much to everyone for your support and preorders and posts! Preorder swag is in the mail, so if you haven’t gotten yours yet, watch for it soon. I sent mail to five countries other than the US, which is so fun! Shoutout to the international readers!
I had lots of fun being interviewed on the local morning show. The hosts were lovely, and my already-amazing cover looked even more fantastic on the large screen. I’m so thankful for the amazing work done by Libby VanderPloeg on all my covers. Since I didn’t say anything too embarrassing on the show, the is link below!
Once you’ve read Hearts, I’d be very grateful if you hop over to your favorite site and leave an honest review!
Signed books
If you missed signed, personalized preorders but still like signed books, BookPeople has signed copies of all three of my YA romances, and my first sci-fi book!

Here are a couple guest blog posts/interviews I did, plus a chance to win a copy of Hearts from YA Books Central! The giveaway is open until August 9.
IG Live with Books with Gen
Huge thanks to Gen Padalecki for featuring Hearts Overboard as her July online book club selection for Books with Gen. We’ll be doing an Instagram live chat on August 1 around lunchtime, so come join the discussion and ask any questions you might have (about the book or my writing or just life in general!).
I know you read to the end just to get another bear joke, and I hate to disappoint readers, so here you go (in honor of me having to get cavities filled recently).
What did the grizzly bear eat after the dentist fixed its tooth?
The dentist!
(No reflection on mine, who is actually very nice.)
That’s all for now! Thanks for reading!
